As an entity officially recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) for the Management of the Herd Book and the Program for the Breeding of the Murciano-Granada Goat Breed, we are a non-profit association of farmers. Our mission is to make both the technical and economic management of goat farms profitable and the promotion of the Murciano Granadina Breed.
A COSMOPOLITAN BREED
Originally from Spain, the Murciano Granadina breed is widely distributed throughout the world, due to its high capacity to adapt to different climates and production conditions. At Caprigran we cooperate with institutions and organizations from other countries exporting our management model to contribute tacking hunger and poverty in a sustainable way and together with local farmers and their families.
Among these countries we can highlight those of the Portugal and Italy in the UE; China, Iran or the Maghreb; Latin American countries such as Chile or Brazil and the United States.
